You can do this to save the Sun Bear

There are many things you can do to save the Bornean sun bear, in fact a very little act does helps alot.

The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) is a sun bear rescue and rehabilitation facility being developed in Sabah, Malaysian.

There are currently 43 rescued ex-captive sun bears residing at the BSBCC. The facility includes large forest enclosures to provide a natural environment suited to the needs and welfare of the sun bears and facilitate their rehabilitation back into the wild. The buddy in the centre act as a coach to teach the sun bear the survival skills in the wild. Don't forget that those sun bears had been grabbed from their mother since they are babies, no one could teach them the survival skills. 

The centre opens to the public. Visitors can learn about sun bears and observe them in their natural habitat.

The things that you can do are:

• Buy the sun bear some gift like a pot of honey, a hammock, a toy and many others in BSBCC website.

• Join the volunteer program to take care of sun bear, BSBCC provided 2-4 weeks program for you to get closer with sun bear. Treat this program as a special vacation experience, it worths.

• It's unbelievable that demands for bear's gall bladder and their paw are still there, just say NO to this cruel act.

• Try to avoid product using palm oil as an ingredient, because the main reason that threaten sun bear is the deforestation for palm oil plantation, due to the high demand and high profit in palm oil production.
